i’m so happy i might actually cry.

a while ago i told tumblr about my family and such and how i don’t really talk to them on either sides and i started to reach out. when i went to meet my grandfather for the first time it wasn’t as great as i had planned but thankfully a couple of family members responded and asked if we can visit them :D my mom’s cousin is getting married on the 21st and she asked us to go down to north Carolina for a visit and she said she’s taking me to a Cherokee Reservation.

I know how tumblr can get about me “not looking native enough” honestly i’ve been dealing with not fitting in my whole life i really don’t care but i’m sooooo excited i get to have a family :D i’ve never really had blood relatives other than my brothers and sister and parents. i’m so happy. i feel like such a loser for crying right now but i’ve wanted this for the longest time and i’m so thankful that there are people out there that want me in their family. they really don’t understand how much this means to me.
